Get Involved with FindingFive!

FindingFive is expanding in 2020, and we want you to join our team and help make FindingFive better for everyone! We are currently looking for volunteers to assist in the following ways, but are open to all forms of volunteer assistance.

Volunteer Operations Manager

We need someone to help us manage our day-to-day operations. The primary responsibilities of the operations manager would be to orchestrate and execute fundraising initiatives and to manage FindingFive’s social media presence. A natural inclination toward creating viral content on social media platforms and / or developing persuasive fundraising strategies will be a big plus!

Volunteer Researcher Specialist

We need someone to help us help our researcher users. The primary responsibilities of the researcher specialist would be to develop tutorials highlighting the many features of FindingFive and to help us answer researcher questions.

This position is ideal for someone who is already a researcher user of FindingFive, since you will be familiar with our platform already. However, if you don’t have such experiences and still want to help, we are more than happy to provide the necessary training to get you started!

Volunteer Software Engineer (Frontend)

We also need someone to join our software development team. The primary responsibilities of the software engineer would be to improve our frontend JavaScript code base as well as develop new JavaScript applications as required. Specifically, you will most likely participate in the rewrite of our study rendering engine, which is going to be very exciting.

Experiences in advanced CSS and Python templating languages (such as Mako or Jinja2) will be a big plus!
